Guest Blogger Guidelines
We encourage industry professionals, authors, editors, and service providers to share informative content with our readers. We know that blogging is a great way to introduce yourself to an audience and can be beneficial for growing a following. To make sure this is an enjoyable experience, we have created the following guidelines for Stress Free Book Marketing guest bloggers:
CONTENT
The article should be between 400-750 words of educational and informative original content specifically for our readers. They are authors (all levels and experience) publishers and others all within the book industry. The writer of the article should be active within the industry and have a website and social media presence supporting their work.
Guest bloggers are permitted a byline at the beginning of the article and biography at the end where they may share their expertise and include links to their business.
The article should be written to educate and enlighten our readers. It should have a positive tone and not contain any inappropriate references or political statements. No sales or self-promotional content is permitted in the body article. We have the final editorial control and may make changes to your article as we deem necessary.
Longer articles are acceptable but might be broken up into two articles. We cannot guarantee that they will be released simultaneously.
We will pick an appropriate image to capture the tone and content of your writing; however, if you have a hi-resolution image that is at least 1000 px wide and you feel it is appropriate for the article, let us know.
Once received and approved, the article will be scheduled to be published within 7 days. You will be notified once this occurs.
Please include a bio (150 words max) about yourself, your books, products, or service. Please include the URLs to your website and or blog along with up to 3 social profile links.
TIPS:
- Take a look at several blogs on our book marketing site to get a feel for the content.
- To take full advantage of your article, you should promote it on your social media platforms. We will add your article to our social platforms and those of our influencers.
- Do not copy the article and publish it on your blog. You can create a backlink to the article on our site and should promote it on social media for maximum distribution.
Stress Free Book Marketing reserves the right to make any changes to guest articles so they adhere to our best practices. All articles will need to be approved by the editorial staff before they are posted. Submitting an article is not a guarantee that it will be posted; however, we will work with you towards the goal of publishing your article.
